Provincial Spiritual Assistant (and former secular Franciscan) Fr. Ed McKenzie, OFM, has an interesting perspective on Francis the warrior and Francis the saint, reports Mary Stronach, OF. She and her husband Bob, OF, had a chance to meet Fr. Ed at the recent Spiritual Assistant and Formation Visioning conferences in Kansas City. Afterwards, Bob wrote an article about Fr. Ed for The American Legion, focuses on his life as a Vietnam veteran-turned priest for The American Legion, and his perspective on Francis the warrior and Francis the saint.
